Obtuse Archive

Website for Obtuse Archive, a cultural archive of artistic, spatial and material practice.

The archive moves slowly. It puts process before outcome and keeps what refuses to disappear. We turned that into an editorial site for conversations, visual essays and an online gallery.

Headlines are set large, like posters. 25 media components let each publication find its own composition, so an image can interrupt the text, sit beside it or work against it, and the archive still reads as one.
