ΚΙΝΗΣΗ (movement): the Greek word, animated in custom generative letters.

Made in Processing at Vera van de Seyp's workshop at INTL festival. Each letter is built from rings and discs on a grid and follows its own rules. Loops and repetition keep the word moving without losing its shape.
